The rental home we live in was sold and we have to find somewhere else to live. It has been quite hard to find a place that is suited to our special needs.
Jason found a house and we were negotiating a contract sale. Everything seemed to be going along normally, but yesterday at the very last second, the seller decided "I think I can do better." The deal was off. So here we are with 24 hours to get out of the rental and nowhere to go. We have looked at so many places, and for one reason or another, they don't work.
This is one of the times in life when you wonder what God is doing. In our hearts and heads we know He is in control, loves us and provides for us. But the waiting is really hard. Do we put everything in a U-Haul and take it to a storage unit and bunk with friends, or do we put everything in a U-Haul and sit in the driveway waiting for direction from God? Because at this time, there is nothing in our plans...and we don't want to have to live in a cardboard box!
Stay tuned for the next chapter, which will probably be all about how God came through with something great at the last second...
